Who is God?
Wow, what a question to start off with! Christians believe that God made the whole world – ‘in the beginning God created the Heavens and the earth’ is what it says in the Bible. So that makes God a creator. God also made humans so that means he made you – yes, you! Oh, and everyone else around you.
But God is also a Father. He is not only the Father of his Son Jesus, but he’s a Father to you and me too. In fact, God is the most loving, kind and best Father that anyone could ever have. And God loves us so much that he sent his own son Jesus to die for us.
So, even though God is the creator of the universe, he also loves and cares for each one of us.
