What is Church?
When most people hear the word ‘Church’ they automatically think of a building, maybe with a large spire, where people who call themselves ‘Christians’ meet. But actually the church isn’t the building at all – the church is the Christians themselves. Christians meeting together are known as ‘the church’.
There are lots of different churches – ours is called a Baptist church. And every 6 weeks or so, we have a special service that is designed especially with you and your family in mind – it’s called CGBC. Click on the ‘service’ tab above to find out when the next one is. If you want to find a place to meet other Christians then a church like CGBC is a good place to start!
